Sweet stuff dude. Get some higher gauge strings on that sucker lol. What type of pickups you got? I have a Hot Rails in my Strat and the thing fuckin wails. Did you get all Hot Rails or some Lil' 59ers or what?

It's probably Ash, yeah? I don't think they make guitars out of oak... too dense AFAIK.

EDIT: Fuck.. I need to get my eyes checked. I thought you were asking if it was oak :olo: :icon27:

The pups are:

Seymour Duncan APS-1N (Neck), APS-1RWRP (Middle), and APS-1B (Bridge).

The body is lite ash and the neck is birdseye maple.

Interesting... never heard of those pickups. Are they all humbuckers?

How does that ash sound? Does it have pretty good resonance unplugged? I'm looking to buy a solid-bridge guitar soon and I'm trying to decide what kinda wood I wanna buy.

They're single coils. The guitar's got a very bright and crisp sound. It's almost twangy, but not overly so. The sound isnt light and tinny at all, but is rather solid and full instead. It's got a very "new string" kind of springiness to the tone that I love.
