Or is that an outdated stereotype? I was wondering, since I'm enjoying a plate of "Les Cuisses De la Grenouille." Should I be looking for some sort of authentic "French" Les Cuisses De la Grenouille??????
French or otherwise, what kinds of Les Cuisses De la Grenouille would you all recommend?
frog legs are pretty tasty. to bad they're hard to get nowadays... ripping the legs off, while the animals are still alive got some animal rights people on the barricades
I don't know about French from France but here in Quebec they are in all our lakes in rivers. Can't almost find them at the supermarkets but many restaurants have them. Taste a bit like in between fish and chicken, the bigger are the better because the smaller ones will have tiny bones, almost dangerous to eat. And only the legs are edible because the arms are too small and the body is only a big empty stomack with skin, no meat at all on it.

There's a shitload of good sized frogs around here. Come get some.
Yes, they really do. A french student on my course brought some over with her after the christmas vacation. A few of us ate them (not me though as I pussied out). And yes, apparently they taste like rubbery chicken.
