The blessings of gamepad => PC conversion

Post by Plan B »

Purchased Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones recently and was really pissed off about the jittery free-looking with my keyboard-mouse-setup.

Picked up a dirt cheap PS2 => PC converter and gameplay/free-looking is butta smooth bliss.

Also the finnicky button setup which I forced myself to get used to with the previous 2 POP-installments were easily forgotten.

Tried it with NFS-MW, but with racing I think I prefer short, digital, keyboard input.

Anyways, I'm probably pretty late to the table, but do yourself a favor, when playing platform-esque games on PC, and use a gamepad.

Wow, nice...i think.

Are you purposefully being cryptic with that million @ thps 2, though? :icon9:

Just buy a Xbox 360 wired control. They are USB and plug right in.

bah i was a god at thps4

the mass noobs: cant even get over 20mil on a 2 minute trick attack and thought anyone who did was cheating
the pros: could get over 100mil, on a good and lucky run
the elite of elite: saw less than 10 players within the months i played that could roll with me, getting 1billion+ on a good run

Only problem is they dont work on everything. I have one :D

But i also have an original xbox pad and a USB connector as well, and that works a charm on anything.
