At what age did you learn to drive?

Since driving school is mandatory over here before the exams, you could say 17, though I had driven cars before.

Got my license a day before my 18th birthday (which is the legal age) and they were valid the next day. Teh win :icon14:

Took me 4 months alltogether.

P.S. I had 6 exams - 2 theory, 2 on a close space between cones and shit and 2 in the city (I had two categories - bike and car), I passed all 6 on the first attempt.

I've never really understood the concept of teaching someone how to drive before they're legally able to have a drink...

passed the test the first time. i was docked points for not slowing down and looking both ways while crossing train tracks, otherwise my driving was "very good."

i took drivers ed and i think that helped a bunch, not to mention it lowered my car insurance rate.

I learnt to drive when I was 14, but got my license at 18 (legal age to drive).
