Inspired by my last gun thread, I actually took the time to find a gun club that accepted guests, and it was awesome.

The people there were actually pretty close to normal, and extremely nice and helpful.

We (friend and I) shot 80 rounds each through a .40 H&K USP.

I was actually pretty good I think, but it was great fun anyway. I recommend it.

Did you feel like a man, firing that big, bad gun?

I find it to be about as much fun as running around shooting people in a game. Handguns are the shit tho.

I've thought about trying the range out here in town. We've got a nice place with contests and whatnot. Could be like darts, except with guns.

yar i love doing target practice with firearms. i've only done it twice but it was awesome fun. i got to fire some pretty heavy duty weapons too, no idea what the fuck they were called though.

this reminds me. my friend just got a ticket for "tresspassing with a firearm." what's retarded though is that he was on public land in a well known shooting area. there were no "no tresspassing" signs posted either. he's fighting it in court cuz otherwise he has to register that he has a felony or some crap like that.

Got a friend with plenty of land that I can go out shooting on. Shot a lot of types of guns from 9mm luger, to a SKS (same as AK but semi-auto), and a old 44 cal lever action rifle that was so old it didnt include a saftey. I think I should take up sharp shooting as a sport. Everyone that has seen me shoot say that I'm a natural. Seems like it would be a fun sport.
