Its funny because the last time someone said that to me it was a vet who was seeing my dog for a checkup (the brown one). He was petting him a lot even though we warned him to be careful. When we told him that, he said "oh, I know how to handle dogs...dogs love me" and right after he said that, my dog snapped at him and drew blood. The guy stopped petting him...
