PSP load time ownage
PSP load time ownage
First watch this wrestling game load time:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... ading+time
Then watch a video a guy did with Gripshift:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYyDkwIZbTA
Now, I'm biased, as I know the guy with Gripshift, and I love the game, but that is some MAJOR ownage, right?

haha that first one is nucking futs. the second one is down.
It is real mate. I have a friend who plays the game JUST for the minigames. Having himself be a total nut job he likes WWE, but even he cant stand the game.Eraser wrote:I don't believe the first video is real. No game with that much loading time will be released.
Thats not the only one either that loads so slow... Thats what you get for releasing the PSP at 222mhz instead of the 333mhz it says on the box... I'm sure sony will suddenly "fix" this soon and have chav gamers world over creaming themselves...

NO seek time on a cartridge

cartridge was the downfall of nintendo as the N64 got its ass kicked by the ps1 and even saturn in japan. the nintendo handhelds sold because they never had any descent competition until the psp.Don Carlos wrote:Cartridge vs Disc innitr3t wrote:funny that a game like animal crossing still loads faster on DS than that GripShift game... not to mention that Mario Kart DS is almost instant-on.

The ds still owns the PSP right now. I have both. My PSP has been collecting dust for over a month (I got my DS then).Anonymous wrote:cartridge was the downfall of nintendo as the N64 got its ass kicked by the ps1 and even saturn in japan. the nintendo handhelds sold because they never had any descent competition until the psp.Don Carlos wrote:Cartridge vs Disc innitr3t wrote:funny that a game like animal crossing still loads faster on DS than that GripShift game... not to mention that Mario Kart DS is almost instant-on.
