Yes Drum, I'm the one upset. I'm the 19 year old college student with my whole life ahead of me, posting for laughs to pass the time between classes while you are a 50 year old man living alone arguing on the internet.DRuM wrote:you sound upset..ctrlnuke wrote:the forum bitch seems to be having a temper tantrum in GD. Drum, you're lucky you're too much entertainment to be worth banning.
you sound like you're upset and looking for an argument..ctrlnuke wrote:Yes Drum, I'm the one upset. I think slow is the wrong word to use. Stock they are slowER, but to someone who's only driven a chipped jetta, it would feel like a bloody rocket. I think we can agree on that.eurodin wrote:207bhp? I don't think so.Quadhore wrote:So let me get this straight, toxicbug.. You said my car isn't fast, but a 1.8t jetta, whith the same engine as mine, just heavily under-tuned is"damn quick" and you've "never driven anything as fast" and compared to your car it's "holy fuck".
So what did you mean when you said: "you have no idea what a fast car is. Your S3 isn't fast"
A chipped Jetta will develop 207bhp maximum.![]()
fucking vtech kids. 2dumb2stupid
S3 is a nice car. Stock they are slow.
The 4wd is about 130kg more than fwd, and eats about 20hp, but you make up for that with traction, so it balances. I'll be able to give you an exact figure next month when I get back from AMD. I think the revo remaps are a bit too aggressive, so I'm switching to AMD for a 5 hour trial because apparantly the power is spread more evenly across the band.eurodin wrote:150hp? yes for the awd, aww motors, the awp motors make 180hp.Quadhore wrote:Totally wrong. The standard jetta is 150hp, so adding 40hp to that is 190hp. 150+50=190. Use a calculator if you don't believe me. Maybe, MAYBE a downpipe added 10hp, if you're lucky. hence my "207hp"(the 7 might be gained from a performance fuel). But maybe you're talking about the 5-speed tiptronic, because I think that comes with 180 to compensate for the extra weight. But, my math is nothing if not fantastic, and 180+40=220, so the lighter pulleys and downpipe might help it develop an extra 10 or so hp, but that'll be offset by the extra weight from the tiptronic system.ToxicBug wrote:Actually it probably has 230bhp since the chip adds 40 and it has a bigger downpipe and lighter pulleys. He demolished another 1.8T chipped jetta yesterday by bus lengths and he destroyed a G35c, so its quick. It ran 14.5@102mph in 0 degree weather with stock suspension and stock exhaust, so now it should be close to 14 flat. What did yours run on the 1/4 mile?
I don't know what you're trying to prove to me. It seems like you're saying my car isn't fast, yet a car that's never even close to the power of mine can only be described as "holy fuck"
Let's take my stock s3. 225hp with 4 wheel drive and an amazing chassis and have it ECU remapped by Revo. Let's also add a fully adjustable Koni Coilover Kit with poly bushes, and a carbon fibre front strut. then put some samco hoses in with a forge dv to increase throttle responce and stop intake collapse. Obviously I'd need better brakes, so the rear I leave stock, and up front I put a nice big pair of Brembo GT's. A milltek catback exhaust system is next, adding a small amount of HP, added with some 98ron fuel, we're currently touching 300hp. Next lets add some nice OZ lightweight alloys, and throw the spare out of the boot to reduce a bit of weight.
the next thing I do is close all of my fingers and then slowly extend my middle at which point I laugh at you for being such a twat
but well done your friend. He managed to beat a VW jetta in his VW jetta. I heard they use them as pace cars in f1 racing these days
The stock downpipe is very restrictive, A whole turboback adds a lot more then 10hp. A chip adds 40hp with 80 more torque.
N75H race increases boost, and with a mbc you can achiece anywhere from 22-25 psi depending on how well the waste gate can hold close.
Your s3 is nice, but 4wd does goble up some of the power, how much whp are u putting down?
An s3 modified is not slow.
The reason that shaft_minus_a_wife is so upset and following me around in every forum I post in, is because not only is he bitter at other men groping his wifes tits and filling her cunt, but also because he got owned by someone he didn't expect to get owned by. After this piece of truth from memphis, shaft then cried.. again... and then locked the thread as he always does when he gets fucking crushed. lmfao..
Memphis wrote: For the record, Drum fucking bitchslapbackhanded the whining lot of you simply by personally owning half the threads in RnR.
Acting like a dick on the internet is one thing. Few have such a river of tears dedicated to them.
This was a reaction Testo was practically begging for for months
You're putting quite a bit of misinformation out yourself. I've had quite a few TT's and a3's that have been chipped and under 300hp that have cracked turbos.eurodin wrote:Again with 280whp-300whp reliability is not an issue at all with these motors. But if you say so.Nightshade wrote:Again, go fuck yourself.
By all means, don't build the motor with any sort of reliability in mind.

Listen mate, I know it's hard to get attention when people are talking about things you don't understand, but could you please keep your shit out of this thread. It's a civil discussion and your immaturity isn't welcome.DRuM wrote:rofl, did you know shafts wife left him and his kids for another man..

Look at you writng a story like anyone believes you, or cares for that matter. Fact is, you started trolling me in this thread. Its alright though...I know how pathetic your life is, getting kicked out of the band and all. If you want to misplace some more rage..go right ahead.DRuM wrote:The reason that shaft_minus_a_wife is so upset and following me around in every forum I post in, is because not only is he bitter at other men groping his wifes tits and filling her cunt, but also because he got owned by someone he didn't expect to get owned by. Don Carlos wrote:oh and the reason i shout bullshit is because 24psi is about 1.6/1.7 bar.
No way would the standard turbo run at that for long also he would need bigger injectors and also a bigger fuel pump and a new inter cooler.
But the fact is the standard turbo would not hold that much pressure
I am still laughing at this man.... All you say is no way.... 24 psi has been done many many times by many many people.
bigger injectors? bigger fuel pump? new intercooler?
why oh why? with 220whp, you don't need bigger of anything.
I am not the only one saying this, the whole vw community says with 300whp you need to change anything. a vw block is not like a honda block. I don't understand why you are arguing still.Nightshade wrote:So you're saying that you don't think it's necessary to strengthen the engine even slightly when running it at 25psi of boost and expect it to last for any reasonable amount of time?eurodin wrote:Again with 280whp-300whp reliability is not an issue at all with these motors.
