Uhm, plugging in an ipod to an itunes install that doesn't have the sync'd library results in a dialog asking what you want to do (both PC & Mac). Tsk on your reading comprehension.

Funny story aboout itunes:

I added Iron Maiden's "Number of the Beast" album, but the 5th track was skippy because the CD was scratched.

So, I went to get the mp3 off trusty limewire, and added it to my collection after properly tagging it.

Funny part?

Number of the Beast was the 666th song I put into iTunes.
