Argh - fucking iTunes!
Argh - fucking iTunes!
So i plug in my iPod on my work PC, and get ready to enjoy some serious music. But alas, iTunes is a fucking bastard and proceeds to wipe my ipod clean of said music, automatically replacing it with three useless mp3's that are accidentally on this PC.
For the love of god, why does it do this? Is this some kind of completely crap feature that i can turn off, or can't this be helped? What's the story?

And shepherds we shall be, for thee my Lord for thee, Power hath descended forth from thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out thy command, we shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine patris, et fili, et spiritus sancti.
thats something evey burn program in the history of mankind did. and you could always turn this off.Ryoki wrote:Seriously, wtf were they thinking when they turned this on default? Are they insane?
It's almost as annoying as the fact that it automatically puts 2 seconds of silence between songs, fucking up every mixed CD i put on it.

I stopped using iTunes the first day. You can thank it's "idiot-friendly, wizard-like, keep-you-from-having-to-think" design for the features that irritate the shit out of you.
For people who like to have some level of control over what happens on their computers, iTunes is a reminder of why not to buy a Mac.
I use Anapod Explorer, and it is simply wonderful. You have to pay for it, but it uses a Windows Explorer interface instead of iTunes and has better options.
I think the most frustrating thing about iTunes is how most of the menu options elicit a response of "Okay, so exactly what does that mean it's going to do," and leaving with you no way to find out short of scouring the internet for phrases like "iTunes deleted all my music."
Anapod for the win. http://www.redchairsoftware.com/anapod/
