Is 7-12% beer like 3.5-6% (vol) beer in Europe?Grudge wrote:There are a couple of places here who specializes in Belgian beer. Great stuff, but dangerous. You want to try out as many as possible because they're so good, but at 7-12% on average you'll get pretty pissed after sampling a handful of different ones.

I always thought it was universal?Deji wrote:Is 7-12% beer like 3.5-6% (vol) beer in Europe?Grudge wrote:There are a couple of places here who specializes in Belgian beer. Great stuff, but dangerous. Nope. I know that vodka is like 80 proof in the US or something, but is only 40% vol in Europe. You guys measure by mass or something.ctrlnuke wrote:I always thought it was universal?Deji wrote:Is 7-12% beer like 3.5-6% (vol) beer in Europe?Grudge wrote:There are a couple of places here who specializes in Belgian beer. Ordinary beer is most of the time 3.5-6%, but Belgian beer is often much stronger.Deji wrote:Is 7-12% beer like 3.5-6% (vol) beer in Europe?Grudge wrote:There are a couple of places here who specializes in Belgian beer.
