Here's a perfect example of police using tazers appropriately. The man caught on fire, but it doesn't matter because in this case police were completely justified in using the tazer. The guy had already slashed himself with a knife and was an obvious risk to their safety.

and why can't he slash himself? its his fucking life...there is no freedom in the world anymore...
a defining attribute of a government is that it has a monopoly on the legitimate exercise of violence...

Yea I know. I just wanted to point out that, just because someone gets injured, doesn't mean that tazer use was unacceptable.

I actually got this link from a site that phrased it in a way that made it look like uneccessary force, and I thought it was quite retarded.
