You have just removed all the credibility from yourself by posting that. You obviously don't understand the difference between whp and bhp, so I'll have to explain it to you since I'm nice and so that people don't laugh at you when you say stupid things like that.
The M3 has 333BHP, not WHP. The manufacturers give the horsepower at the crank, not at the wheels. That integra was 231WHP. That number is taken from a dyno pull and it is more important than BHP since fwd, rwd, and awd cars all have different power loss through the transmission.
FYI, on a front wheel drive car, 231WHP is probably actually 260-270BHP at the crank. The M3 has 333BHP. The M3 weighs 3400lbs and the Integra Type R weighs 2600lbs, or even less if it has gone through weight reduction. Now do you think that 60bhp in a rwd car (more power loss through the tranny) is enough to compensate for an 800lbs difference?

Do you EVER tire of saying stupid things? A Corvette Z06 that can pull over a full lateral G is useless in a bend? Jesus, just shut the fuck up already. You've proven time and again that you have NO FUCKING IDEA what you're talking about.ToxicBug wrote:Actually that integra has a track setup, its not a drag car. Plus, the Integra Type R was manufactured as a very serious track car in mind, it handles like a beast. With handling mods and all the extra power, it would be interesting to see who won on a track, it should be pretty damn close. After all, we're not talking about a Mustang GT here or some other useless-in-a-bend american car, lol.Grandpa Stu wrote:but i recognize the superiority of the m3. i'd put money on the fact that the m3 would completely dessimate that acura on a proper course that has these things called turns--perhaps you've heard of them?
i'd hardly qualify a pull as a race either. with my turbo i can easily win a quick pull race, but on a course that actually takes a bit more skill, like turning the steering wheel, i'd be harder pressed to keep up with a more agile car...cuz lets face it the wrx isn't exactly a beaut when it comes to corner intensive tracks.

no, i understand it all right. we all went through the vtec phase, it is just taking you longer than others, mostly because of that thick head of yours.ToxicBug wrote:just stop posting, you don't understand this at all. was a I talking about a race car or a production car? you are such a fucking moron, you should have considering getting some more education done, you left school way too early. no wonder you're in the army.andyman wrote:well look what is right behind it, and i sure as hell don't see any shitcan acura's. why? because no matter what you do they will not hang.ToxicBug wrote: I wasn't talking about heavily modified GT race cars you dumb shit.

The new Z06 and the Ford GT are pretty much the only american cars that can handle, so they are exceptions. Got any other ones?Nightshade wrote:Do you EVER tire of saying stupid things? for fucks sakes, read that thread. Lots of people thought they weren't racing. That ITR has 231whp, it probably runs mid-high 12's, OF COURSE it can demolish a stock M3. Btw, Bitwise, there are no automatic E46 M3's, that one was SMG.![]()

"More power loss through the tranny"?
Again, do a batch of mods to the M3 that are similar to that mighty "all motor" Integra. Watch what happens.

Yeah, how about a Cobalt, Cavalier, or Focus with the same type of mods that your favorite riceboxes get? The funny thing about this whole argument is that you're just armchair quarterbacking. You've never driven any cars even remotely like the ones you're discussing. You have absolutely no idea how they handle, so shut the fuck up.ToxicBug wrote:The new Z06 and the Ford GT are pretty much the only american cars that can handle, so they are exceptions. rofl are you comparing american compacts to the integra type R? Yo u do know that a stock real 2001 Integra type R currently costs $17k-20k, right? Thats a 5 year old car. How can you even compare it to anything else.Nightshade wrote:Yeah, how about a Cobalt, Cavalier, or Focus with the same type of mods that your favorite riceboxes get? Re: im not one to side with BMWs
You are, however, talking about modified cars. My car could easily outpace a stock Integra, but if you dump that many mods into it, of course it will destroy me in a race. It's still just apples to oranges.ToxicBug wrote: just stop posting, you don't understand this at all. was a I talking about a race car or a production car? you are such a fucking moron, you should have considering getting some more education done, you left school way too early. no wonder you're in the army.

You are quite possibly the dumbest person on this board. What you just posted is completely irrelevant to the discussion at hand and entirely without merit. Other than that, you're spot on.ToxicBug wrote:rofl are you comparing american compacts to the integra type R? Yo u do know that a stock real 2001 Integra type R currently costs $17k-20k, right? What car do you have? A stock Integra Type R has 195hp and it runs 14.7 on the 1320.werldhed wrote:You are, however, talking about modified cars. Audi TT 225. No mods except tires and brakes. It's a bit heavy, so I dunno how the handling would compare, but I'm sure pulling away at 30mph would be no problem. Riced-up SRT4s have tried and failed.ToxicBug wrote:What car do you have? A stock Integra Type R has 195hp and it runs 14.7 on the 1320.werldhed wrote:You are, however, talking about modified cars. Who knows, maybe the integra is faster.
You'd still be driving a japanese car though.
And at every red light you encounter, you'll be looking to your right and think: "Damn, I wish I had that much style. I guess it's time to destroy this guy's ego."
And then your four-cylinder engine will make some kind of embarrassing noise and you'll be marginally faster than the dude in a real car who probably isn't even trying.

Re: im not one to side with BMWs
Is the 225 the 1.8T model? If you've beaten a real SRT-4 in a straight line, then you have a quick car, since a stock SRT-4 generally runs 13.9s. A modified one is easily in the 12's since its a turbo and all. A stock E46 M3 runs 13.5, just to compare. I don't know what yours runs, but it would seriously surprise me that you beat a 230hp compact in a 225hp awd luxury car from a roll... maybe the other guy didn't know how to drive or had an ordinary neon.werldhed wrote:Audi TT 225. have you ever driven a new M3? I have, just so you know.ToxicBug wrote:Is the 225 the 1.8T model? uh, no.ToxicBug wrote:they were both in 2nd at 40mph...Maiden wrote:that is a pretty cool car, but the video is kinda meh.
he was camping in second gear waiting to nail it. not real impressive.
my shitbox vw will probably keep up with an m3 if you let me camp at 3000 rpm when its time to go.
the guy said it himself.......That is my car in the video. I'm sorry, but I can't read all of the French replies. Yes, that was an M3. Yes, he had downshifted. Yes, he did get on it......
i really doubt you can downshift a M3 into first gear at 40 mph. like i said the guy in the honda was camping while the other guy had to downshift. I'm sure the fart can is fast but that video shows shit.

hm i find that hard to believe
the M3 has 360 odd bhp and a large amount of torque. They hit 60 in a shade over 5 seconds. My mate had one, the top csi model and it was fucking scary quick!
No way could a little Jap thingy take one of those
