according to werldhed, your book '1984' is 'only marginally better than Brave New World'. i would ask that when werldhed joins you in the afterlife, could you please stab him
thanks
p.s. say hi to franco for me
:icon26:
My real problem with both 1984 and Brave New World is that they started out with such potential, but by the end they just become sermons that you wait to trickle down. If I wanted a lecture on sociology... well... I'd go to a sociology class.
Animal Farm is where it's at. :icon14:
I do agree that Animal Farm was much better.

Really? I thought it was a great book.
I read lenard's post as 'that boot sucks', thinking he meant the boot stomping on a human's face for eternity, I was forced to agree.

That one was good. I like the classics more I think... When it comes to fiction anyway.

Are you referring to George Orwell? If so, that book has captured my attention so much that I was still in a fear that the world would have been destroyed by the end of 1984...
I won't elaborate more but it really affect my life.
