Most likely a dumb question but, does anyone know of any free sat nav software that can be used on a mobile phone? I doubt it but thought I'd ask just in case. Friend of mine just bought a tom tom sat nav unit and he told me they do it for mobile phones too, but that's expensive.

aye.
and you can get a decent enough sat nav setup for £99 in halfords. this cheapskate plumber i know bought one for his lads' van, none of them have complained.
Nothing for free then? Ok, well I can certainly look into that £99 setup. I must say though, tom tom is great, the voice telling you where to go is pretty neat.

Theirs free software for laptops but not 'free' for phones/pdas I don't think.
