the symbols mean "caustive death" apparently when they're decyiphered from their hyroglyphs. i don't believe we're on the penultimate episode this season and there's not really been ANYTHING new revealed all season except the tallies. in season one they introduced:
whole island itself
others
"monster"
hatch
numbers
french chick

this season... the tallies? the counter? some mediocre answers... it's been entertaining don't get me wrong, but i need something to wow me before the season is out.

anywho.... march 1st, the final episode... excited?? reckon there's gonna be war before the season is out?

i reckon the gimp in the hatch is one of them, i'm quite sure of it... can't wait to see if they try and rescue him back.

I was just reading the same thing about the symbols. Something to do with Death for sure.

I also think he's one of them, but I think he's there for a reason.

Yeah, watch again and you'll noticed that he's definately concerned about the alarm sounding when they pull Sayid off of him.

Is Lost actually a quality show?

or is it just attractive people in suspenseful plot situations and cliff hangers?

like...

does it hold a candle to firefly in terms of cinematography, script, character depth, etc?

so was davinci code - i've never read a book that fast in my entire life. I read the whole thing in one day.

I still thought it was a piece of dog shit, though I felt like i was addicted to a cheap drug at the time...

here's a question:

could you watch the whole series of Lost multiple times and still enjoy it? Discover new details, revel in the pure artistry of the show?

You could definitely discover more details, especially if you read up on the mysticism behind it (the Wikipedia article is quite good), but I don't know if you could really enjoy watching it again.

It would be a bit like watching the Sixth Sense or SAW again I guess.
