Why would you not do something special for Valentines Day, when it's so easy and it makes her happy?
cause i can do it any other day of the year too, and without the obligations of valentine's day its a lot more sincere

That sounds nice.

See, I'm one of those guys who doesn't go out of his way to do 'sweet' things very often. At least on valentines day I have a reminder and no reason not to.

Of course I'm always good to her, that's why she's happy and she's with me - just that I'm not always the most thoughtful, affectionate guy in the world. She doesn't hold it against me as long as I make sure to be that way when it counts - and valentines day is one of those times. ;)

impressing you geeks is like trying to impress a dung beetle, it's pointless and you only wind up rolling around shit.

I gave my g/f a bouquet of roses :smirk:

Although I don't agree on the whole "Halmark holiday" that serves as a marketing gimmick to increase certain companies' revenues, I still like the feeling of giving someone special a gift.
