I was just speaking to Foo, and I reckon it'd be nice to get a few Q3W Q3 games going, like in the days of past (anyone old enough to remember Khalsa?)

How about a different server? I'm getting invalid_cdkey for some reason.. :/

yeh its an old prob.

you have to delete your cdkey from baseq3, then launch quake 3. connect to the server, and you'll get the cdkey error. press escape, then input the cdkey, and then reconnect. that sorts it.
