I'm not looking forward to mine.

Last year was the first time in my life that I owed taxes instead of getting a refund.

I'm single, with no deductions at all, no kids, nothing. If they can't figure out how much I need to give them every paycheck, I don't see why I should have to deal with figuring it out myself and then paying them more at the end of the year.

Sure, but all that is taken out of my check before I pay taxes on it, so I only pay taxes on the 'taxable income' after that part is gone.

bottom line is you should withhold the % of taxes owing that would be spent on the 'defense' budget.

I still get a complete refund since I am taxed less than I pay for college. $1800 this year. Next year will be the last time I can do it unless I go on to grad school.

You have to be a complete retard to have overpaid your taxes that much. Way to let the government hold onto our money interest free. Dumb fuck. But then what would you know about anything.

Don't count on it. If you recieve a stipend for grad school, you'll still have to pay taxes on it. Granted, if you claim withholding on it, you'll probably end up getting a refind of some sort in the end.
