BTW, I’m a new happy dad of….

Five kittens. I know, I know…It’s from my uncle who always say to his cats and doggy, come see daddy. But anyway, Saturday 3am, she jumped in bed and her ‘’miwouling’’ wasn’t as usual and she ran to the basement door and before I was down stair, she was already in her ‘’nest’’. I was watching on her until 5:30AM, she was looking at me with her big eyes and I told to myself, may be she just want some privacy. So Saturday morning there they were, 5 of them in perfect health, almost. Two of them seem really weak and even thought I didn’t want to touch them, I just positioned them so they could eat/drink. Man, it’s weird but you know when you are looking at the fire in a fire place or to a fire camp outside, it captures yourself…So does the kittens with their mom to me.
What a joy.
Hope I didn’t bothered you too much.

I once spent the night outside at about 8 years old watching my 2nd dog give birth. Amazing and humbling experience.

That must have been quite an experience at that age. I am 40YO older and still had a tear/upset about that beautiful magic of nature.

your language captures the moment vividly, pete.
big eyed cats eating their fragile young is always strangely captivating, like a fire. :icon14: :icon14:

I know how you guys feel, sometimes I walk around the maternity ward in hospitals finding rooms where people are giving birth so I can hop in and watch. Such a beautiful and humbling experience, even the 40th time in a day.
I love quake!

I'm sticking with my original guess of January 30th but I'll suppose that there will be 5 kittens. 3 male, 2 female.
So I was a week early but atleast I got the number right. Did I get the sexes right? What's my prize?

well at first I interpreted signs of animal cannibalism all over the place, but after reading your statements and upon careful re-examination of the evidence, I believe we may also have a case of beastiality here.
