Music?

Post by BlueGene »

Can anyone recommend any good rock/alt? Nothing that sounds like pop/emo or extremely heavy. (Pls no Linkin Park or Simple Plan bands, I hate that type of music)

I like stuff like Metallica, Rammstien, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, etc.

Currently listening to Caesars - Out of my hands

Irish punk: Flogging Molly

Ozzy Osborne is heavy, but good stuff.

Then there's all the classic rock: Black Crows, Creedence, Bob Seger, etc.

Stuff like My Chemical Romance, Brand New & Fall Out Boy. It's not all that bad, but not exactly what I like. Haven't heard of the bands you posted, but I'll look into it.

Thanks Canis, I like some of the older stuff. Iron Maiden especially.

If you have any more suggestions then your more then welcome to add to this thread. Another favorite of mine is Smashing Pumpkins, but not so much the newer stuff before they broke up.

Snake River Conspiracy, just sampled it on Amazon sounds interesting but not exactly what I like. Is there any particular song you like?

Shadows Fall: Not bad, a bit too heavy for me.

i really wouldn't call it stuck since the 2000's haven't given up as much good music as the 90's so far. nothing wrong with that.
