So i went to Lapland..

Post by Don Carlos »

And when i got there it was -27 Degree's C...my nostril hairs
froze walking off the plane and i quite frankly fear for the saftey
of my love sack. Once at the cabin we started a nice log fire
but neglected to open the flu and nearly smoked out the cabin!!

On my First day there i went thorugh a bottle of vodka and kept up
the pace through the entire holiday. It was good fun and i really
do recommend it for anyone looking for some chilled out fun.

One draw back is that it was expensive as fuck. 5 Euro for a pint
that isnt a pint as they server 500ml not the proper 568ml that
a pint actually is. A glass of wine was 9 Euro and Raindeer was
expsinsive as hell to eat. Tho that might have been because i
asked for the one with the red nose...

Anyhoo, here are some pics :D

once ive accumulated enough money, I think moving to France near Marseille is a good option, fast at the slopes in winter, very nearby the Mediteranean Sea, great for summers :D

I've heard the snow in the last month has been insane! Top-shelf pics, and they prove it. Get your ski on, or did you cower inside like a Dwoomie?

Lapland is basically all of Northern Finland past Oulu. The record temperature setting was in 1998 in Utsjoki. I was still living in Finland when the news reported -60 degrees Celsius there.

Pictures are amazing DC, looks like you had a great time. I've got to get out of here and get back to Finland, reacquaint myself with nature and real winter. I hope my tips helped you out :icon14:
