Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus
Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus
did anyone read this book?
I just read some quotes from it and to me it sounds like the most sexist and stereotipical piece crap I've ever heard.
not to mention that the authors throw in a little religious literature to explain some of their standpoints , and it completely destroys this book's credibility if there was any ounce of it left.
edit:
here is a link to some quotations from the book

Don't be surprised to find it's bullshit.
The author styles himself as Dr. John Gray but his doctorate is the worthless, churned out of a no-standards "diploma mill" which has since been shut down. He claims to be a psychology expert but doesn't even have a real degree.
All this information is widely available on the internet and ought to ruin him, but for some reason hasn't.

im pulling this out of context
reading through that and this one caught my eye.
i dont exactly agree about the gender issues in this excerpt but one thing i can say is how much i fucking hate people that dawdle, beat around the bush, or feel the need to give a long winded explination of things. get to the fucking point. and i know this isnt a gender biased opinion as i find that a lot of my female friends have the same exact mindset. But women tend to enjoy the process. Not that reaching a goal isn't important, but we like getting there too. That's why driving vacations are so very different for men and women; the guys want to get to their destinations and beat their best time with the fewest stops, and we sort of treasure the time to talk and look and maybe stop at the outlet malls along the way!
