Stanford iTunes lectures

Post by Canis »

If you're interested in ideas from Evolution/ID to political happenings, Stanford's iTunes service has a good variety of solid discussions on these topics: itunes.stanford.edu

I saw this on slashdot today, and have been listening to them all day. :)

Boo... I was excited until I noticed it requires iTunes.

I was just about to start a topic about places to find science-related podcasts.
I recently came across this: http://www.nature.com/nature/podcast/index.html

Anyone else know of others?

A bit surprised, yeah. Most places that allow you to download audio files don't actually require use of a particular player. The podcasts I posted, for instance, don't actually require an iPod.
It seems odd that a university would require it, when it's meant for public use.
