It's been rather warm this winter here. More like fall. Come to think of it, the last few years have been real mild winters.

It was sunny and around 80 here. I don't think it's going to snow here this year. Granted we usually only get one brief snow a year anyway.

Once global warming hits a catalyst point, Europe will be the first to see the destructive effects of storms and sea levels rising.

Here in Southern Ontario I've experienced mild weather up until January 8th with a sudden dry freeze moving in. Now it rains hard, freezes, melts, snows...

Last year there were Extreme Cold Alerts every night from December to February. This winter there's been one so far.

whoopty fucking do, -30C is nothing complaired to what we've had here in Alberta. Although right now the weather is having a tough time dipping below -10C, it's not uncommon for temps to dip to -38C ( without windchill ), now that shit is fucking cold

He speaks the truth this time. Its already started in the Canadian north, David Suzuki gave a speech on the environment, the weak political scene and other related issues last night here in Edmonton and was talking about it.

And guess what one of the first things the conservative government wants to do when, since its looking that way, they get in? Pull out of Kyoto and buddy up with the idiot bush administration. Hurrrrah....

Of course. Conservatives are all for backing up Bush 100%. They're just about puckering up their lips for some serious ass-licking.

Yeah, there was a forum with 6 of the ppl running at my school at lunch yesterday, the conservative was allll about how we have to work with the US more, blah blah blah, last I heard harper still wants canadians in Iraq. Being in alberta, the most conservative province, this sounds great to the majority of people around me, all about money, oil, guns, hunting, and so on. Saddly there is also a large christian leaning in the party aswell...

May as well call Canada mini-US if/when the conservatives get in... :dork:

Yep. Simply genious. Have to wonder how much money is going to go into the private sector from US backed organizations... :tear:

Shit, its funny to, the sheer number of figures the conservative threw at the students yesterday its obvious they are buying votes and its going to fuck us socially/environmentally/internationally (save with the US), and so on just so we can make some more cash and go back to good ol' christian values.

HAH, could not be more true.

And when they say Christian values, what the fuck does that mean? WHat about the other 50% of Canadians? Go fuck ourselves?
