Random Thought #35
I wonder if a person could build a website that runs programs, like a downloadable exe program or the like on the website and then VISUALY only, show you what would happen so you could test and see if you had any negative (viruses, trojans, etc...) effects on your pc.
Admitedly the program needed to run such an interface would be a challenge but it's an interesting idea I think. You?

Ummm no, it's a site that runs software for you and that allows you to use it without using your computer. The applications are not only for viruses, say your computer doesn't have enough computing power to run the software, that website allows you to run it and see everything you need to actualy see without having to run it on your pc.Kaziganthe wrote:man, a site that could scan your computer for viruses and spyware, how novel is that?!

I don't see what's so interesting about seeing what a virus does, as usually, it does very little in the visual department (maybe except for a BSoD once in a while).
Kracus, I'm going to tell you this only once, but those movies showing skulls laughing at you and big red texts flashing "I OWN YOO HAR HAR HAR" after getting a virus are not realistic.
