I am not sure if we have access to all of them but I did try a few ones and it seem to work, just think that sometimes we don't have access to the whole articles.

you still have to send the bill back...shit like this is a pain in the ass...over the years I've learned that every 'free subscription' is a scam.

When I got my dell, I was supposed to get 1 year subscriptions to 3 magazines for free...that turned out to be the biggest hassle when the year came up, because all the subscriptions were through some 3rd party that was almost impossible to cancel with, so the fuckers kept sending me bills.

I bought a book from a company about 2 years ago. Two weeks ago, I get another book from the same company out of the blue. They tried to tell me I had signed up for a 'book club' by ordering the first book (don't knwo which type of book club sends 1 book every 2 years.). If they ever want your credit information up front for a 'free' subscription, don't do it. They will hope that you forget to cancel on your own after the trial period, then you get dinged with a 1 time fee for a year's subscription or whatnot.

So yea, fuck free subscriptions. Fuck them right in the eye.

In fact, pete, this is a lot like what YGP said...don't you realize that everywhere you go people are offering free issues of magazines? Fuck, you can't buy somethign at best buy without them trying to dump 8 free issues of SI or entertainment weekly or some shit on you.

I had 2 years free of Stuff, Maxim, FHM, and a few gaming magazines... they all ran out already (afaik... maybe they just stopped sending them before the deadline). But they haven't nagged me with any bills or anything yet.

They will send you a one time subscription offer and you just have to write cancel if you don’t wish to subscribe$ for it. PS; That offer was from the CNN web site and referred directly to The TIME Magazine, not a third party. They are in business since 1923 so I think they are a respectful cie. I know there are plenty of fraudulent who just want your credit card ID but this offer is from the Real cie.
Thanks for the warning though.

The magazines I had didn't require any credit card input, so they had no means of charging me.

I subscribed to many mags and newspapers in the past, paying for them.
In 1984, I created my cie and since then, every time I attend an exhibit show, I just have to handle them my business card and in the weeks coming, I started receiving plenty of advertisements and free specialty mags for free, that I’d have to pay around 200$ a year per subscriptions and they are not in kiosks everywhere, really hard to find. Even received free pass for events that the general public have to pay 20$, some events I didn’t attended for over 10 years and they are still sending me free pass every year.

I’m pretty sure that even with a fake business card or at some places where you fill in your info before you get in and you just add CEO or Principal Purchaser or President, you’ll get all the premiums and they’ll never check on you, except may be for a few phone calls or letters.

Well pete the truth is I wouldn't care enough to even bother. Not that I'm bashing you or anything you're an opportunist! I like opportunists except when they're just pathetic.

I got the bill now, do I really have to send it back with "cancel" and waste money on a stamp or can I just ignore it?

If you decide you like TIME, you’ll receive 52 more issues – 56 in all – for only $29.95. That’s 86% off the cover price! You’ll also receive the ULTRONIC™ Touch-Screen Organizer FREE with your paid subscription. If you don’t want to continue with TIME after your trial period, simply return your bill marked "cancel" and owe nothing.
Take care
