Firefox?

If you're willing to pay for it, admuncher is one of the best at ad removal of all kinds.

I'm using firefox, and I prefer free.
Normally I'm not bothered by them but when I'm searching for tabs I get fucking slammed with pop ups.

You can use firefox to block the flash popups I thought.

Hmmm, I don't get anything in Firefox. Might be the Adblock Plus + Adblock Filterset.G Updater extensions that help out though.

Not by itself, but the NoScript and Greasemonkey extensions have that capability.

I also use Firefox and Adblock and I haven't got a single pop, even on questionable sites.

my Firefox blocks popups by default and notifies me everytime it does so. On the rare occasion the pop up is useful, i can tell Firefox to allow it.

I've been using it for 6 months and it already blocked 1326 popups
Also, FREE and easy to install...I installed it myself so you understand what I mean by easy.

Yea, Firefox + Adblock works well, but you still get those sites every now and then that will manage to pop something up anyway. When I go to rawstory.com I get them, even with Adblock.

I know I could block it manually but I've been too lazy so far. I'll keep everyone posted as further events warrant.

I'd love something to stop TorrentReactor from trying to throw fucking WinFixer on my system. That'd be dandy.

lawl, that's because those two sites throw a shitload of extra javascript domains at you (to fetch their adverts or whatever else they feel like doing).

If you use adblock plus and the adblock filterset.g updater extensions it will add a big definitions file to adblock with pre-defined keywords. This will block a ton of stuff.

Look, just for those 2 sites you guys browse theres a ton of stuff that tries to get through, you should only be allowing the main domain (it prolly uses some form of java) but anything that points offsite is very likely to use some form of adverts.
