and i thought you said there weren't any gay swedes?

oh, and yea. way too many forums. start with one for consoles, one for pc, and one for off-topic chat. you can split them if/when they start getting over-crowded and confused, which will be never.

Content is king. Without content, there's no basis for a forum.

How about helping to run a forum on an established gaming site somewhere? Or offering to help set one up for a site that has content but no forum.

Either way, no content, no posters.

There arent any good game forums.. most game forums are either connected to ONE specific game or ONE specific console etc..
Would be nice to have one giant game forum for everything about games.

buut... i doubt I ever manage to fix something like that, for starters.. a free forum?

Feeling that way yourself is fair enough, but obviously you would have to find other people who feel the same way.

Forums surrounding a single game often work because everyone has a very specific common interest. 'Games' is very vague, as the hobby has great width AND depth.

Also, such things do already exist. Penny Arcade has forums, and their subject is broadly as you describe. That's just one example.

1up.com has a lot of forums too, I think.

The problem is that there are a million forums about games already, you won't get enough people to post on the forum. I would also suggest changing the color theme and the the image size like people have said.
