I wouldn't gaurantee that...I've been out of the loop on the latest and greatest molecular biology techniques. A good friend of mine is a PhD in Seattle...he keeps me up to speed on some things that are going on, but I've let my subscription to science lapse - which used to be what I read each week to keep abreast of what was going on in the world of research...(I figured if I could only read one journal, Science or Nature would have to do...or maybe PNAS).

sort of similar, but I had a maths test today, where I had to calculate on how many years it would take for a bike to lose half it's value through amortisation (is this the correct term in English?) with a 5% decrease each year. Would the formula be

Original value(1-percentage/100)^number of years= End value?

Yes, that is exactly what the formula would be.
