http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanobot

It's a pretty sci fi concept, but it would rationally explain most if not all of the supernatural goings-on, as well as account for just about everything else - The Others, the bunker, the medicine the bunker guy was taking, the corporation behind it all (involved in bio tech), etc.

The show is starting to get season 1 quality good!

Yeah, or maybe they're just all in purgatory.

Yeah, but that would just be predictable and lame.

Have not to this day watched a single episode of that show. Is it really that good, or just run of the mill shit?

EDIT: @scourge

I think its pretty good. Its definitely made for TV in terms of production, but the story is very intriguing. They're constantly throwing new stuff at you that really enhances the story rather than just dragging it out (though you can tell that they're working their asses off to seemlessly modify it to extend into future seasons, but they're still doing a good job of it).

DL season 1. It's atleast 9 hours long, if not more.

Try freeze-frame when the camera cuts through the black smoke. You'll see flashes of images from Eko's life, most of them religious-based.

Because his life is fairly religious-based. I think it's going to end up being a meld of science and supernatural. "When you stare into the abyss the abyss stares back at you."
