Don't waste your time with Ridge Racer. There isn't much point in playing it unless you can play it with other people. The single player will be easy most of the way through, then it'll suddenly cut off and be impossibly hard. I was pretty pissed. I mean, it's sort of fun for a little while, but I don't think it's worth the price.

Also, stay away from Dynasty Warriors.

Ridge Racer and GTA, and Medi Evil...

But TBH, DO NOT GET A PSP. They suck compared to the DS. Wow, it plays movies in some form. Wow it plays MP3's. Wow it plays games on a big screen.

How about wow the movies suck in quality and have no special features plus are expensive? How about you have to pay massive ammounts to get a decent sized memory card? How about the "massive amazing screen" makes games last under 2 hours (GTA battery life is pointless, the game drops to about 1 hour 30mins battery life. Hardly "portable".

How about buy a DS, buy a portable DVD player, buy an MP3 player, and with that large chunk of money you have left over, buy some of the BEST hand held games on the market.

FACT.

Burnout fucking sucks on a PSP. You cant see jack shit in front of you, plus the frame rate drops to about 5fps in places... Just like all the other PSP games.

I thought you could rip your own movies and copy them to the PSP? The DS looks like a portable dvd player rather than a console though :p. Never actually used one but they look quite nice.

I heard Lumines is absolutely awesome, many people say it's even better than Meteos.
Even I, supposedly mister Nintendo himself on Q3W here, am interested in playing this game.

true, but

DS = 130 euros
Play-Yan = 50 euros

play-yan plays both video and MP3 from standard SD memory cards. Throw in an additional 20 euros to get the Nintendogs or Mario Kart bundle and you've got the DS with audio/video playback and a game for 200 euros. The PSP (without game or memory stick) costs 250 euros.

lol. Well I don't have a PSP and don't really plan on buying one, but Lumines is from the same designer as Meteos on the DS, and Meteos is the best puzzle game I've played since Tetris. If I come across someone with a PSP and Lumines I'll give it a shot.
