Dell's new PC gaming monster

Post by eepberries »

"The computer will run four GeForce 7800 GPUs, two more than the maximum allowed in the standard XPS 600. In tests, the rig and its Intel Pentium processor Extreme Edition 955 were factory overclocked at 4.2GHz, making it one of the fastest computers (if not the fastest) on the market.

The Renegade is scheduled to be available in the first quarter of 2006 with marketing and sales largely through Dell's online site. A base price has not yet been announced, but Dell admitted it would be 'a lot.'"

Does it really piss you off that I stay on the top of technology? Because you seem to have a strange fixation for me.

I think he was laughing because he was making his post before he actually saw mine. Unfortunately no one else would be able pick that up by reading the thread. So it really wouldn't be funny to anyone else but him.

I'm not the only one buying this stuff. There are thousands of other people doing the same thing. Computers are my hobby and I've got the cash to fund my hobby.

Everyone has to have a hobby, right?

Yes. I think something good is coming of it, regardless of your intent.

I think there are places where one can properly dispose of computer waste. Though you'll have to drop some coin out of pocket for the service.

Activists say the United States should follow an international treaty against exporting toxic waste to poor nations and embrace policies like those being adopted in Europe to reduce the amount of toxic material in electronics.
Since it's not enforceable, it's not illegal :olo: :olo:
