I'd have to say that's a bit unfair, actually... unfair to every other decent-looking car.
I am sorry, but mustangs are foul-looking.

yea, who cares about mileage. your car only counts if it weighs 2 tonnes or more!

Now that's just not true. There are plenty of interesting looking cars and sports cars that come from/have come from Asia. Mitsubishi should ring a bell. Acura has some nice cars. Toyota at least has the supra. Subaru is ace. There are plenty more

I think in general seremtan is right, but as always it's subjective. I personally would fully disagree with you on all of those points. I do, however, like the look of the most recent Camry, and Nissan's styling is now pretty good (was terrible up until the latest models).

I don't like the retro cars but I am interested in seeing what they do with the Camaro.

That being said, I've never really liked American cars in the first place.

:olo: The two hyundai's I've owned have outlived 3 american cars; Two GM and one Ford. :olo:

They have publicly stated they "borrow" concepts from other car makers. They're also the #1 fastest growing car company AND have joined the ranks of Toyota with increased sales in the U.S.

Yeah... hyundai :olo:... :dork:

american cars have become bland generic crap.... i thought that was a known fact by now.
the only american cars i can think of from recent years that are even remotely interesting would be the new vette, 300c, and the solstice.
everything else is just a lame suv, or a boring four door sedan or some neo-retro nonsense (mustang, charger, etc...)
the best thing american car companies can do to revitalize things would be to fire the entire design team and the ass-hats in charge of the uterly disgusting interior construction that has plagued all US cars for over a decade.
boosting a neon or rebadging a cavalier isn't going to fool people in to buying them when euros & asians have competing models in all product ranges that are for the most part; superior in every comparitive category. (except for $:displacement ratio... but in real-world usefulness thats more pointless today than ever before.)
