it was a great game.

too bad many people will be talking about the missed call on youngs td pass in the 2nd.

but oh well, still one of the best games I've seen in a long time.
V. Young is the man. Something like 185 passing and over 200 rushing.

fook USC

Shit the worst call was going for it on 4th at mid field by USC, if they had punted I dont think texas could have gone the length of the field. Still was a good game, neither team played perfect and young was definitly hard to stop. Though, if your facing a QB like that, wouldnt you think you would have someone on contain near the endzone??

Yeah I didn't agree with that either....they missed their last 4th down attempt and the momentum was with Texas. Should've shanked it to pin 'em deep then Leinart would've had a few more plays to get within FG range at the end. Carroll will be thinking about that one for awhile, no doubt it.

what was the final tally on texas fumbles? seven fumbles with USC recovering one? they gotta talk to nike about some stickier gloves.

i was just waiting for one of them to fumble on that last drive, it was ridiculous. almost as bad as the kickers throughout the entire bowl week. seems like none of them can hit an extra point, nevermind a field goal

What a game! It was just like last year's Rose Bowl :icon14: Yes my team prevailed again this year :D, but I have to say I don't particularly enjoy these nail biters :p I thought we were going to lose for sure, because our D couldn't stop USC's O, but somehow they made that critical stop on that 4th down, and VY was just too amazing :icon30:

Now that we have the baseball and the football titles, time to move onto basketball... :paranoid:

Well, I was surprised that we stopped them on that play, because our D couldn't really stop their O in the 2nd half (or actually pretty much the whole game), and White had been very successful running through the middle, so I wouldn't fault Carroll for that. If I were him, I would've gone for it as well. Besides, their real intention for the 4th down that failed in the 1st half was purely to draw Texas offside, but Leinart went ahead and snapped the ball and couldn't make it himself.

Yeah there were quite a few blown calls on both sides, but the downed knee and the interception were probably the two biggest.

thats two things this bowl season hasnt had a lack of. blown calls and horrible kickers.
