Having the internet on anything but a computer is kind of pointless, are you really going to be using it on your phone/psp? There is no way to properly navigate and the screen is far too small, most websites aren’t designed for such resolutions and probably look like crap. If you want to type something you need a proper keyboard.
It needs a USB keyboard - only not the shitty implementation of the idea like this pic:

I'd also like to see a USB unit that allows hte PSP to be used as a GPS navigation system.

[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.
It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.
I am now sick.

Yeah but the screens way to small for it.Eraser wrote:I'm sure someone will implement a web browser for the Nintendo DS, which would be excellent as the touch screen really removes the troubles of keyboard-addons and such. You could also simply just touch links to follow them.
Internet surfing is one thing the PSP actually does good on. I made a few posts from home the other day on it just for a laugh, and it works. Slow as hell like, but it works.
Yeah, as if screen size between PSP and DS matters when visiting sites that are designed for 800x600 minimumo'dium wrote:Yeah but the screens way to small for it.Eraser wrote:I'm sure someone will implement a web browser for the Nintendo DS, which would be excellent as the touch screen really removes the troubles of keyboard-addons and such. The PSP screen is HUGE yet it still makes it a total pain in the ass for browsing some sites with.Eraser wrote:Yeah, as if screen size between PSP and DS matters when visiting sites that are designed for 800x600 minimumo'dium wrote:Yeah but the screens way to small for it.Eraser wrote:I'm sure someone will implement a web browser for the Nintendo DS, which would be excellent as the touch screen really removes the troubles of keyboard-addons and such. Jesus man relax, the DS rocks the PSP, i'm just saying that net browsing would be so much more nicer on a PSP.

Some guy did GPS, but it requires 1.5 or 2.0 firmware to run the homebrew code...
Why not?

That's like telling a video game modder to stop tinkering with video games and to just play them instead :icon26:Memphis wrote:You modders. Fucking hell, i'd be scared to have toast at your place, you've probably modded the fucking toaster into a hair removal device or some such shit.
It's a games console. Just play some games on it.
