Nissan plays with Xbox 360 urge
The Urge has a LCD screen to play games
Nissan is blurring the difference between driving in the real and virtual world by bundling an Xbox 360 in its Urge concept car.
The roadster will come with built-in controls for Microsoft's Project Gotham Racing 3.
Drivers will be able to use the steering wheel and pedals to play the game on a seven-inch LCD screen, but only when the car is in park mode.
Nissan said it would unveil the Urge at the Detroit auto show on 9 January.

Gimmicks... Could be neat tho..
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.
It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.
I am now sick.

Can you picture seeing someone parked up at the side of the road twiddling the wheel and hammering the pedals, when the car is stationary?

Raises some tricky questions about promoting safe driving, too.

I can't imagine mashing on the pedals and wrenching the wheel of a stationary car is good for it. And what do you do to change gear? Jerk the gearbox around? I'll pass.
And

You KNOW some retard is gonna think that since he is the shit in the game, he might as well try it on the streets. Quick way to die, if you ask me.

you can only play when it's in park according to the BBC.
nothing "amazing" about bundling a video game console in a car environment. old as the hills really.

I think it's an awesome idea techologically, but it's too impractical. I've always thought it would awesome if an arcade racing game used an actual car with LCDs for each window.

It'd be cool if all the windows in the car doubled as monitors.
