something liek that. Nothing is final, i just want to see if my efforts will go down the drain if i do this.
Where were you when the West was defeated?

forza motorsport is much better for the whole yay souped up cars thing
Why not?
Jenny: lol, i'm not changing the whole harddrive directory structure for a mod. Do it proper like other mods please.
from what i gather this is how things are shaping up to go down. each week there will be a new challange posted in which you have till the next challenge posting to complete it. the nature of the challange will dictate what rules/regulations/conditions will be in play. for instance a challange linup might look something like so...
-week one-
leguna seca time attack
restrictions:
cars/tuning - 250hp cap
-week two-
deep forrest straightaway top speed
restrictions:
cars - German cars only
tuning - engine upgrades only
-week three-
Evo Ring challenge
restrictions:
cars - Evo series only.
tuning - No "pre-builts" must be upgraded and tuned by driver; sky's the limit.
hopefully that gives you an idea. that way it isn't all just stock cars. tuning does play a large role in this game so i'd hate to leave it out. adjusting something as little as downforce can have a huge impact on top speeds and track times. i have a '99 WRX tuned to run like a super car; it keeps up with tom's supra pretty decently.
the only type i'd be reluctant to do would be rally events. as much as i love them they're just to easy to cheat on. take a high powered car and ride the walls, not much challenge in that if you ask me.
and amidy, what are you talking about when you say online?

I know there's a way to play GT4 online, but from what I know, the setup isn't easy, and the results still aren't satisfactory. Even on LAN is pushing it I think :icon32:
you can take screen captures in gt4 and place them on a usb drive to transfer to your computer cant you? is it possible to capture lap times and speeds that way? hrm im gonna go play around...
You can save photos to an USB drive, but I'm not sure about screen captures. What I can do is to use a digital cam to take pics of my TV screen. However, even screenshots won't be able to catch certain cheats such as wall riding or corner cutting.

Fucking hell, use PGR3 or Forza or something actually GOOD. GT4 is a waste of time.
Erm Forza is shit compared to GT4
I have not played PGR3 so i cant comment...

Week 1 :
Track - Leguna Seca
Car - Nissan Skyline R34 - Standard
Best lap time : 00:00:00
Best overall time : 00:00:00
Just keep it simple for those who have not had the time to complete the GT mode...

oh m ylord... Anybody who thinks GT4 is "good" needs to get a real driving simulator...
anyone that thinks Metropolis street racer or one of its brothers is realistic needs there head checked.
on aserious note, when playing GT4 VS forza or Motropolitan. Gt4 has a much beter feel to it, the view isent small and blocked. i think the best way to discribe it... compare quake 3's view ( gt4 ) to Halo's View ( Forza )... its more annoying then not.
