After being sidelined for a game by a referee who ruled that he could not play because he wasn't wearing shoes, Bobby Martin, a senior noseguard at Colonel White High in Dayton, warmed up for a matchup with Belmont High. Martin, who was born without legs, was reinstated for the rest of the season by the Ohio High School Athletic Association.
It is great that he's so motivated, but I just cannot conceptualize him playing. How would it work? He'd have to fling himself in the way of other players and grab their legs as they ran by. I couldnt see him doing anything with the ball at all.
Honestly I doubt the'd play him in a serious game. I'm sure he's able, but if it came down to the team winning a title or something they'd sit him on the sidelines.
Also... not to rag on this guy but seriously, wouldn't he have been better put to use putting all that fucking effort into somekind of mental project instead of being a legless football player? Isn't that like watching a mental retard try to become a nobel prize winner in astrophysics?

He's a defensive player, you moron. Your stupid joke just fell that much flatter.
So what if he catches a fumble idiot?
He plays nose tackle. Any fumble he recovers is going to be in a pile anyway. Or he could lateral it back. Either way, for his role he obviously does fine, I doubt he would play if he was a detriment to the team.
