If snow is still on the ground tomorrow...

Post by Foo »

I'm heading to the playing field across the road in the village to build a huge snow fort.

Regression to childhood = awesome.

Anyone ever done this before? I'm gonna go make a snow brick mold now.

Sounds fun :o.

The deserted car park just over the road from me however looks like a promising skid pan. :ninja:

last time we had a huge snow here me and my friends made a huge snow fort in a park. we rolled up snowballs that were twice our size and arranged them in a large circle. it was cool too cuz after we were all done with it all the little kids that lived around there thought it was the coolest thing and played in it for hours.

Yeah that's what I'm planning. It's all actually part of an elaborate trap to ensnare young children.

I'm not sure how long I'll last making snow bricks. I had a go earlier and with a crappy frame managed 7 before I was knackered.

My mom has a large, paved driveway and my dad would always plow it with his front-end loader which resulted in massive snow piles that were probably 8 feet wide, 6 feet high, and 30 feet long. I would spend the rest of day tunneling through the piles. Good fun.

Square tupperware caserole storage makes a great brick mold... but I wouldn't know :paranoid:

Yarr. I'm worried about destroying it though... it's light powder here and I'm gonna have to pack it into ice.

there isn't enough snow around to here to build a snow birdbox never mind an entire fort

snow is gay anyway. it gets compacted and even after the gritter's come by it's still slippery as fuck
