I'd rather have the cold and a couple of inches of snow that we have here now, than a thin drizzle and just above zero that seems to be the only alternative when it's winter.

Snow on the ground this morning - no much. Later today it thawed and refroze and on top of that it's snowed again.

Road conditions are bad - coming back from a friend's place in town was a 30MPH endeavour throughout. I think if this layer of snow thaws and freezes once more there will be a lot of accidents in Yorkshire tonight.

neh, was this much earlier today? I've been inside all day so didn't notice. I just looked outside but no snow here, just a bit wet. I'm just down the road from you in finchley, you're in crouch end/hornsey, right? I did hear yesterday though that it was gonna snow today.

lol - yeah you blink and you miss it (as ever) - it settled from about 9 till 10:30 ish then the clouds cleared and it all melted - was only about 1/2 an inch anyhoo - not all that exciting
