Logitech G7
Logitech G7
I know mice were just discussed a few days ago. I saw no mention of this mouse though so maybe someone's got some comments?
I'm wondering about the dpi buttons. I read they're programmable. Does that just mean you can set the dpi settings or can you bind to them. If you can bind to them, how do you set the dpi?
Going from 8 to 6 buttons (assuming dpi buttons are just for dpi) kind of stinks but otherwise I think the is the mouse I want. I spend a lot of time in photoshop and truespace so the dpi stuff sounds interesting to me.
I'd also like to hear comments on the range. I take my mouse with me to the couch during movies etc. My mx700 get's really jittery at times at only 5 or 6 feet. It also needs to work at range on a leg/pillow/odd surfaces.
Any problems with drifting? Again, at range my mx700's cursor likes to go on adventures and shit while I'm in the middle of a movie.

Your MX700 needs replaced or you have something interfering with it.. I use mine from the couch as well and never have those problems..
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.
It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.
I am now sick.

Sometimes even at my desktop the cursor will vibrate one pixel up/down when it should be still. Probably a defective mouse.SOAPboy wrote:Your MX700 needs replaced or you have something interfering with it.. I use mine from the couch as well and never have those problems..
One thing's for sure, the case is a mess. After just a year the silver has rubbed off at the palm, and the left and right mouse buttons. It's a great mouse, there just a lot of little things going on mine.
Is it true the G7 is lighter?
