Slow motion online is really sweet, explosion effects are kinda similar to the ones in doom3. Where you have like a vibration, then you also go deaf if you stand close to the explosions. Weapons have cool effects, the plasma one is sweet. What else, the glass when destroyed is kinda shitty. Just like little shards, sort of like quake2. The in doors environment isn't all that detailed, but that could also be my settings. The game looks really fun to play.

Bah screw the video, it's like 700 megs with fraps then with VirtualDub it's still like 40 megs. I don't feel like uploading that with my 12kb/s upload rate. Sorry. :icon32:

Don't really care for the MP with this one, the SP looks like it will be a nice horror/spookfest type of game.

Wow just played some deathmatch and it plays very similar to quake, it's fast paced and the weapons are really powerful. You can kill someone with 1 shotgun hit or 3 nailgun shots. I was owning for the whole time, I got to 50 kills in about 7 min.

It's starting to look like doom3, the weapons. I even found a rocket launcher.

by the way the resolution doesnt really change much how much fps the game gets. Its the detial that matters most.

how do you use virtualdub? It seems you cant just run a game or a file and press a button like f9 like with fraps to start recording, so do you have it running in the background or what?

U use fraps and make a video, then after that you open the video in virtualdub check all the setting and export it as avi.

This game eats fps ffs, I've got a AMD 2500, 6600GT and 1024 DDR 400 and I got an average ofr 28 fps on medium settings @ 1024x786.

From what I can see, it looks like a whole bunch of the latest effects, and a real big texture resolution for everything..... then absolutely no Tri Count for the level itself.

So basically, the game looks like some of the worlds fanciest looking....box maps.

Am I wrong?
