Last minute Christmas shoppers

Post by obsidian »

Sooo... I haven't started yet. I seem to do this every year. I keep telling myself (everyday for the last month), "I'll go tomorrow". I think I just hate shopping. Just wondering, is this a normal routine for most of you or do you guys actually get your shopping done early and what's your excuse.

I think I'll go shopping tomorrow. Seriously!

If I do any, it's usually around August. I won't go near stores around this time.

I did mine yesterday, but I'm going to have to go back down town and return half of it because I've found out other people have bought the same thing months ago and can no longer return it. Time to think of new presents on the fly. :icon33:

I usually start looking around November. Try to shop online for the most part. This year I couldn't figure out what to get most of my family so I kept putting it off. Yesturday I bought giftcards :olo:

I dont like the materialistic aspect of christmas, and I hate getting someone something by feeling I need to do so. Then spending time browsing through crap until I find something that sorta fits that person and bullshitting some story around that item just doesnt cut it for me, so I avoid it.

[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

Since the kids are basically grown and no grandkids yet, I don't really celebrate christmas anymore. Never was big on the family gathering thing anyway and am glad that shit is over.

Just finished mine. I am tired my wallet is still smoking
The only satisfaction I got out of the hole day was messing with parking spot stalkers, people following you to find a good parking spot but I would walk in and out of lanes :icon30: makes them sooo fuking mad.

Let em follow you..

Get into the car, back up like 3 feet, pull back in, get back out and start walking back to the store..
