what res do you run you's at?

i just got that thing today, and i am kinda impressed.
thus far i have not been 100% about video playback. HD or not :/

seems that it dosent, i just watched a 720P movie.. still get little bars on the side.

the 24" does 1920x1200

.. teh 20" does 1680x1050. running the 24" at this resolution... is a stupid idea

i know it does, but i am trying to get a feel for this thing, and that isent a 16:9 aspect.. with overscan or not.

if you dont plan on running the LCD as the resolution it was built for, save your money and just return it.

(btw i've got a 2005fpw at home and two 2405fpw's at work)

i allready said that one isent, i am trying to find one. but thus far, i havent came up with a combo that works.. 16:9 that looks good in windows..

by the looks of it, i need to stick with the 1920X1200

1920x1200 is the only res to run it at... It's a 16x10 panel, not 16x9. If you run it at 1920 by whatever = 16x9, it will look like ass.

Yeah 16:10 aspect like dave said. It's a slight bit taller than an HDTV acpect at 16:9.

btw, you are right, i am living at home wile i am going to collage..
but i fail to see how that is offensive?

its hard enough to get through collage on my own, without anyone paying for me to go through.

i bet you are still paying your student loan.

and here i am, a fresh Grad, and debt free.
