A new mouse?

I don't use anything but the scroll wheel and the left and the right mouse buttons when I play, so it doesn't affect me in games.
In desktop use, the tilting scroll wheel has replaced the back and forward functions that I needed two thumb buttons for, so I don't even know what I'm gonna use the thumb button for from now on. The + and - buttons have replaced the cruise up and cruise down functions, so its all good.
Funny thing is, I tried my MX500 on the Steelpad 4D (which has 2 sides) and it only works on the rough side. The G5 only works on the smooth side, so I'm happy.
