Is there a free, good program i can use for Hotkeys, such as binding keys to control wmp volume and shiznit?

honestly, i recommend you use winamp and get a plugin for global hotkeys:

No need for a plugin, its built into winamp now..

i am tempted, just used to wmp and not sure if its worth the trouble.

wmp is quite bloated though compared to winamp. you should try it for a few days and see. more skins than you can shake a stick at, too.

no, you're right, i think it was before 5 even. i remember using the keypad for basic playback.

its just one of the things at install options, wondering if its worth having or not.

it's useless if you don't install any other media player again and/or you're VERY careful during the install of said player.

get yourself some skins. you can get both "classic" and "modern" - modern having the "neeat-0" factor, but in exchange for a larger memory footprint.

i don't use the library, so someone else might be able to tip you on that. don't get carried away with the EQ. also that's one less window to have to look at with some skins. i always just have the main window itself and the playlist visible.
