Adjustable weight cartridge
Adjust the G5s weight and balance (up to 36 grams) for the control you need to dominate the competition.

I thought that was a cool feature. I'd rather have a beefy fucker than some feather.

You mean that logitech went out of their way to create a mouse specifically for gamers and completely failed? That's a pretty big mess up.

mx518 ftw!

actually you can bind keys to the mouse tilt wheel as well as the thumb button, giveing you 3 extra bindable keys to use in addition to the mouseup, mousedown, mouse1,2 and3 buttons. So there are a total of 8 bindable keys on that mouse.

On the MX518 I could only ever use one of the thumb buttons myself, I'd always hit the wrong one or both at the same time :paranoid:

In my experiance The G5 is just a better more precise mouse. I keep mine at its highest resolution all the time because I cant be bothered with switching sensitivities in game...but the option is there if you want it :)

Same goes for the weights....feels good right out of the box, but if you want to add weight, you can.

I dont recommend useing the "setpiont implementation" to determine your mouse speed, clicking the"OS implementation" box willl keep your mouse from feeling too sensitive.

over all its a great mouse :icon25:

you cant count the tilt wheel as extra buttons because its way too gay to use in game. If you try binding stuff to it you'll be fumbling all over it pressing in the mouse wheel when you meant to tilt, and tilting the mouse wheel when you meant to press it in.

And dont forget rotating it up or down by mistake
