Was looking for another 1gb and it seems that things are pricier now than they were when I was browsing for RAM about 2 months ago...is this right, or am I just remembering the prices incorrectly?

Factories have moved over to DDR2, so DRR prices will be increasing while DDR2 will be decreasing.
