I am back, from Japan

Post by Turbine »

Some of you might have, probably not, noticed that I was not posting here for a while. For the past half a month I was in Japan.
Wow crazy place, I tell you. And I mean that in the best way possible.

I spent most of my time in Tokyo, the first and last half anyway.
Most of it had to do with the fact that trying to get a ride on the bust was cryptic, at best. So I traveled by train, and they are faster than anything here in North America.

I went to Tokyo, Kioto and Nasaka. Many other places in between, but those where the major ones. Most fun in Tokyo and Kioto, thou.
You have absolutely got to see Tokyo at night, amazing city and the people are so friendly that you could go in to the darkest of the alleys. The Shibuya shopping district is amazing. Some of the stuff sold in the stores, specially clothing stores... Sometimes I felt like I was in a episode of sailor moon. Man the fashion that those people wear makes us north americans look like old, gray, grandparents. wow, it is just unbelievable what those people wear. Amazing, you should see some of the girls.

The language was somewhat of a huge barrier. But at least me and my pal's had a way of getting around. Eating Chesohasobugas, from Makodanaruza.
And in case you do get stuck talking to them just add "o" to the ending of every word and they should understand you pretty good. Like asking for train tickets" Whero cano I buyo a tiketo? (no offence to anyone!)
Now I am trying to seriously learn this language. It is hard but I am focused on at least knowing how to mantain a normal conversation.

And I got a pretty cheep PSP, only a couple of grand. Good thing you can actually change the text to English or else it would be useless, as the buttons are already labeled in Katakana.

I just absolutely love that place and I can not wait to go back.

Oh, and how the frack did I forget to mention Japanese TV, all I have to day is: :dork: . Ahhahhh, you should try reading some menus, and english instructions, jokes.

They allso have a healthy obsession with all things to do with thiose funny bubble like looking characters. Can you spot them in this website? I never clearly understood that, it is very strange, every time I saw one of those on product pacaging, TV and ads, I would go "I don't get it"
It does look interesting, shall I say cool, but I dond understand the origin or any meaning behind it.

My japan trip idea is very vague, long term and generally unspecific :icon14:

if u want to fuck the typical wannabe whore, who has had more western cock than the average western girl, then yes you would.

if u have some standards and want to fuck someone worth fucking, then no.

japan does fucking kick ass though.

I was pissed off for the first couple of years.

once i started to grow some balls, stopped being suprised when they didnt have the shit i had back home, and acted like someone who lives here, rather than a tourist - i started to love it.

Ive been here for 4.5yrs..maybe gonna be here for another 2yrs or so..

The people out of the major cities are backwards cunts though..not like poor, but backwards attitudes - they can all fuck off.
